Today we’re going to look at the product and company—
RevvNRG Worldwide Inc.
What is RevvNRG?
RevvNRG is a drink mix that comes in small packets containing one serving each. Thirty servings are packaged per box, and boxes are sold as few as one box and as many as 24 in an order. The price depends on the quantity purchased, as there are significant discounts for buying in bulk—up to 50% off the price of an individual box.
RevvNRG is served by pouring 1-2 full sticks into 16 oz of water. I would be sure to adjust the amount to taste. The flavor is reminiscent of cherry Kool-Aid™.
What is the purpose of RevvNRG?
RevvNRG is designed to be a healthy alternative to sugary and highly caffeinated energy drinks, a weight loss supplement, and provides non-jittery, natural energy.
What are the RevvNRG ingredients?
The key ingredients of RevvNRG are a “proprietary blend” of acai, cupuacu, yerba mate, cha de bugre, fucoxanthan (seaweed extract), green tea, and B-vitamins. RevvNRG also contains glucuronolactone, grape seed extract, cinnamon twig extract, galangal root extract, stevia leaf, and 5-HTP from Griffonia Simpicifolia seed extract. Other ingredients: Organic cane juice crystals, natural flavors, citric acid, malic acid, grape skin extract, silica, and potassium citrate.
It states on the box that one stick (1 serving) provides 1,250 ORAC units for those who are concerned about an ORAC score.
Calories: 30 per serving
Sugars: 7g per serving
Vitamin B12: 1,250 mcg per serving
RevvNRG does contain naturally occurring caffeine from the tea.
How is RevvNRG sold?
RevvNRG is distributed through a network of Independent Distributors.
How do RevvNRG distributors get paid?
Click HERE for a copy of the company’s compensation plan. An overview shows the compensation plan is a non-flushing binary, for those familiar with network marketing pay plans. There are three ways to earn compensation:
Fast Start Bonus for enrolling a new distributor
Team Commissions that pay out a 5% to 24% of the point volume on the weaker leg. An example of the point volume awarded would be $33 box is equal to 25 point volume.
Mega Match Bonus is an executive level bonus. It pays a 10% matching bonus of distributors who earned Team Commission in your direct line binary tree. The number of distributors it can match in your tree is unlimited because you are entitled to enroll an unlimited number of distributors who can in turn enroll an unlimited number of distributors. The depth of Mega Matches on your tree is dependent upon your ranking during the commission period. The higher your rank, the more generations of executive distributors can be matched.
What support does RevvNRG offer?
The Master Distributor of RevvNRG Worldwide, Bryan Robert of Bountiful, Utah, does a weekly training call free for all distributors to inform and train on how to build a RevvNRG business. The company also provides an email campaign that notifies each distributor when there is growth on the binary tree up to 20 levels beneath deep.
As with any network marketing company, the majority of the training appears to be provided by individual team leaders. A quick search brought me to www.revvuniversity.com.
So here’s the big question,
“Is RevvNRG a SCAM?”
I was given a few sticks of RevvNRG by an independent distributor Matt Conkle, and I was asked to give my opinion. Upon first impression, it seems like an easy product to promote. It’s much healthier than an energy drink, and less expensive, so the market should be huge. It does hit on several popular markets: High End Juice, Energy Drinks, Weight Loss, and Health and Wellness.
Drinking the product definitely provided an obvious energy boost and a feeling of mental clarity. Be wary of taking RevvNRG too late in the afternoon because you may be wide awake come bedtime, which for most of us, would make for a rough tomorrow.
So the RevvNRG product definitely works to boost my energy and keep me focused throughout the day. The energy was long lasting, and I didn’t notice a crash feeling like I get when I consume energy drinks like Monster™. Is it worth the price? Well if I just buy it from an Independent Distributor, I’m going to pay $3 a stick. That’s in line with the going price for other energy drinks and coffees. Considering it appears to be a healthier option than energy drinks and coffee (my next article will be about the coffee industry’s attempt to keep Cadmium poisoning out of the news), it’s the obvious choice.
If $3 a day is too expensive for your budget, then you would definitely want to look at the RevvNRG distributor enrollment so you can purchase in bulk and get a “wholesale” discount. Buying in bulk allows you to get the price from $2/stick for one box purchase down to $1 a stick when buying the largest package they offer—24 boxes for $360. Shipping costs appear to be actual shipping charges with a reasonable buck or two for shipping labor and materials.
If you are interested in the product, should you distribute this RevvNRG?
This is the million dollar question, and the answer is not an easy one. As with ALL network marketing companies, the results you get will be in direct proportion to the amount of effort you put into the business you choose. So if you’re hearing Uncle Bob talk about all of Network Marketing being a pyramid scheme because he didn’t make any money selling Mary Kay, ask yourself this—is there a good reason Uncle Bob didn’t make money? Is he lazy? Does he present himself well? Did he engage with a company thinking he wouldn’t have to do any work in order to make money? Did he choose a product that didn’t suit him? Would YOU want to be in business with Uncle Bob? It’s very likely that the failure was with Uncle Bob—not Network Marketing!
However, there is a factor that DOES make an important difference in your likelihood of success in any network marketing company—your SPONSOR.
These questions are relevant no matter what product you are considering distributing.
Consider these factors:
1. Is your potential sponsor excited about the product and equally excited about the business opportunity?
You don’t want to get “in business” with someone who isn’t looking at this as “business.”
Will you be part of a solid team that can offer training, resources and support?
Your TEAM is just as important as your sponsor, so be sure to research the people in the upline before you choose your sponsor.
If your potential sponsor and other in your upline don’t have much experience or past success, can you see they are taking concrete action toward personal development? Reading books? Attending seminars? Holding meetings?
Leaders are not born; they are created. Your likelihood of success will increase if you have solid leadership guiding your team. Leaders teach by example. If you don’t like what you see in your potential sponsor, run for the hills until you find someone you want to work with.
2. Is your potential sponsor a salesperson or a networker?
Networking is based on sharing a product more so than selling one. Someone great at selling cars or real estate may not have the same results in network marketing.
Before you enroll with your neighbor’s grandmother’s friend, you need to ASK YOUR POTENTIAL SPONSOR these questions:
Have you ever done network marketing before, and if so, were you successful?
Who is your sponsor, and what is their experience in network marketing?
Would I be expected to follow a team training system? If so, which one?
Then do your research! If you don’t like the leadership and their system or if you don’t care for the tools they have available, find another group with which you can align that will be a better fit for you.
Where will I be placed on the binary tree? How strong is that power leg? Will I get “overflow” from people above your sponsor?
If not, you had better be sure that your sponsor is capable, willing, and excited about doing this business or you will find yourself working twice as hard as other people in the same business.
In short, becoming a distributor of RevvNRG or any other product is a business decision. Network marketing has had a bad reputation in the past, mostly because companies weren’t paying fair compensation for the amount of work. In other words, you could work your butt off and not see a dime. Even the best networkers in the country struggled to make solid income.
Things have changed dramatically over the last several years, and Network Marketing has hit mainstream. It’s not a “get rich quick” scheme, so get that out of your mind now. You have to work at promoting whatever product you choose as a distributor in Network Marketing. Do your research, but once you’ve identified RevvNRG (or whatever company) as “the one,” act quickly because of the tremendous value of “First Mover’s Advantage.”
I wish you the best of success!
